Story

You are a brave stranger who puts your life on the line to make a difference in this dark fantasy world. While most people would never risk a lonely journey through the wilds of the land, you willingly take up the fight. You guard travelers, connect remote villages, support traders and fend off attacking creatures, bandits or even the undead. A powerful merchant guild has enlisted your services and sent you on a journey to the unknown plains of a mysterious peninsula in the hope of expanding the guild's influence even further. Explore this world and gather as much information as you can to uncover the secrets of the area. It's a dangerous task, but an equally respectable one. Roadwarden is an illustrated, text-based role-playing game in isometric pixel art that combines mechanics from role-playing games, visual novels, adventure games and interactive fiction, such as inventory puzzles, dialog selection, character abilities and development, hit points, simple survival mechanics or time-limited quests.
