The third and for the time being last part of the Resistance series. Resistance 3 depicts Capelli's heroic survival in the brutal world of the Resistance. Featuring new upgradeable weapons, the return of the Weapon Wheel, two-player or split-screen online co-op campaigns, and a progression-based multiplayer mode, Resistance 3 offers a first-person shooter experience that is both heroic and brutal.
Story
August, 1957. America is doomed. Four years after the end of the critically acclaimed Resistance 2, dishonorably discharged Sentinel Joseph Capelli has given up the fight against the Chimerans. Now he hides out with other survivors, including his wife and young son. But when Dr. Fyodor Malikov shows up and deals a blow to the Chimeran occupation force, Capelli must leave his family and make the arduous journey from Oklahoma to New York City. Along the way, he encounters the remnants of humanity left after the brutal Chimeran invasion.
