Remember Me
Remember Me is a visionary 3rd-person action adventure game in which players take on the role of Nilin, a former elite memory hunter with the ability to enter people's minds and steal or even alter their memories. The authorities, fearing her knowledge and abilities, have arrested Nilin and wiped her memory. After escaping from prison, Nilin sets out to recover her identity with the help of her last and only friend. The search for her past leads her to be hunted by the people who created this surveillance society.
Story
Neo-Paris, 2084: Personal memories can now be digitized, bought, sold and traded. The last vestiges of privacy and intimacy have been swept away, a logical consequence of the explosive growth of social networks at the beginning of the 21st century. Citizens themselves have accepted this surveillance society in exchange for the convenience that only smart technology can provide. This memory economy gives only a handful of people immense power over society.
