Puyo Puyo SUN

Satan has magnified the sun in a devious attempt to get the perfect tan. Arle Nadja sets out to defeat him in this competitive puzzle game. This is the 3rd installment in the Puyo Puyo game series and the sequel to Puyo Puyo Tsu. After the highly acclaimed success of its predecessor, Compile chose a more retro approach to give players a more original gameplay experience than Tsu. The name Puyo Puyo SUN comes from a Japanese pun with san, indicating a new puyo that was brought into the game. Since this game used sun puyo and the game itself is not only set on a tropical beach, but is also the third installment in the series (san (三)) is the Japanese word for the number three), the name served several purposes. This game was released only in Japan.
