“Punishing”: The story of “Gray Raven” is set in a post-apocalyptic future. The discovery of “fusion technology” ushered humanity into a rapid Golden Age of scientific advancement. But due to humanity’s ambition and curiosity, its foray into the forbidden realms of basic research ultimately led to the creation of what will plunge civilization into ruin: the “Punishing Virus.”
Story
The game's story takes place in a post-apocalyptic world that has been overrun by corrupted cybernetic enemies caused by the "Punishment Virus". The last remnants and survivors of humanity have fled to the space station and fortress Babylonia. The player takes on the role of the commander of an elite squad of constructs known as the Gray Raven. The player leads the troop into battle against the Corrupted and other opposing forces to reclaim the planet.
