Story
Razputin “Raz” Aquato, the son of circus performers, runs away from home to sneak into the “Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp” —a government facility disguised as a children’s summer camp where young psychics are trained to become “psychonauts,” that is, elite agents with supernatural abilities. Although he’s told he can’t participate without parental consent, Raz impresses the instructors so much that he’s allowed to take part in an advanced training program. During an exercise, he has a disturbing vision in which a mad dentist removes a camper’s brain. When Raz discovers that the vision was real and that a conspiracy is underway to harvest the campers’ brains for psychic weapons, the adult psychonauts simply refuse to believe him. As his fellow campers disappear one by one, Raz must venture alone into the abandoned asylum across the lake and delve into the fractured minds of its inhabitants to win their help—all while racing against time to save those he cares about before the conspiracy reaches its horrific conclusion.
