Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy

"Psi-Ops" is an action game in which players rely not only on big guns and explosions to advance, but also on psychic powers to defeat one army after another of enemy soldiers. In the game, you take on the role of Nick Scryer, a secret agent whose face was reconstructed and whose memory was erased so he could infiltrate a growing organization of psychics called “The Movement.” Nick is captured, but manages to escape and continue his mission to stop “The Movement”—gradually regaining his psychic abilities along the way. The game combines conventional weapons with the weapons of the mind. Players have access to a range of psychic powers, such as telekinesis (the ability to hurl objects and soldiers around), pyrokinesis (the ability to set things on fire), “Mind Drain” (to drain enemies’ psi powers), and astral projection (leaving your body behind to explore the game world).
