Project X Zone
Project X Zone is a tactical crossover role-playing game for Nintendo 3DS. The game is a sequel to the Namco × Capcom video game and features characters from Namco Bandai, Capcom and Sega. Stages in Project X Zone take place in grid-based locations from the game's many crossover titles. Each friendly unit consists of two characters (hence it is called a "Pair Unit"), although a third character (or "Solo Unit") can be added to help once per battle. Unlike Namco × Capcom, units can move freely within their range on the field map, without having to access treasure chests or destructible objects before attacking.
Story
The year is 20XX AD. The world is in the midst of a silent chaos. Shadows lurk behind the unchanging peacefulness of everyday life. Twisted beings writhe unseen in the darkness. Mysterious dimensional portals connect the real world with other, more fantastic worlds. But over time, people have learned to understand and even accept these things as part of their everyday lives. And all this without knowing about the existence of the people and organizations that fight true evil. The Kouryuji Estate------ There is a certain family that has worked in secret throughout history. This story begins with the theft of a treasure known as the "portal stone" that this family has always protected. Mii Kouryuji has enlisted the help of private detective Kogoro Tenzai to track down the stone. Who stole the stone? And for what purpose? The thoughts and ambitions of various people, organizations and mythical beings intermingle and eventually the case becomes a mess of great proportions. The worlds of the past, the future and even the dimensions become involved. So the long journey of our heroes is about to begin.
