Professor Layton and the Curious Village
In the strange village of St. Mystere, the inhabitants speak to each other in riddles, lock their doors with sliding puzzles, and hide their secrets in riddles. When a wealthy baron dies, his will reveals an elusive treasure hidden somewhere in the village. Now it's up to Professor Layton to unravel the mysteries of St. Mystere, find the hidden treasure and solve the case.
Story
When the wealthy Baron Augustus Reinhold dies, his will mentions a hidden treasure in the village of St. Mystere. As the baron's family are unable to find the treasure themselves, they ask the well-known puzzle expert Professor Layton and his apprentice Luke for help. When the two arrive, their search for the treasure is interrupted by the suspicious death of another member of the Reinhold family. Now Professor Layton and Luke are faced with two puzzles and must work their way through the village's many puzzles, riddles and brain teasers to uncover the truth.
