In this first-person shooter, you take on the role of a specialist from the armed forces who is tasked with investigating unusual occurrences in the ancient Egyptian city of Karnak. During your investigations, you discover that alien invaders who are mummifying people alive have taken control of the city. Your task is to fight your way through the increasingly difficult levels and finish the game with an extraordinary number of enemies.
Story
PowerSlave is set in and around the ancient Egyptian city of Karnak in the late 20th century. The city has been invaded by unknown forces and a special team of hardened soldiers has been sent to the Valley of Karnak to uncover the source of the evil. However, on the way there, the player's helicopter is shot down and the player narrowly escapes. The player is sent into the valley as a hero to save Karnak and the world. The player fights hordes of alien insectoid beings known as Kilmaat and their various subordinates, including mummies, Anubis soldiers, scorpions and evil spirits. The player is guided by the spirit of King Ramses, whose mummy was exhumed from its tomb by the Kilmaat to resurrect him and use his powers to rule the world.
