Post Scriptum

Post Scriptum

Post Scriptum is a World War II simulation that focuses on historical accuracy, large-scale battles, a difficult learning curve and an intense need for cohesion, communication and teamwork. Players relive the events of "Operation Market Garden" in the fields and towns of Holland. The Bloody Seventh is our name for the initial focus of the project, as we believe it describes the struggle the British paratroopers endured while waiting for their military counterpart to make a connection across the Lower Rhine. In a 50-versus-50 multiplayer setting, players will have the opportunity to fight with the British Airborne Division and its Polish Brigade, the British XXX Corps, or various branches of the German Army, such as the Wehrmacht or Waffen SS. It is a rare opportunity to experience the intense battlefield of the Battle of Arnhem, which spanned farms, forests, villages and urban areas. Each area is faithfully recreated using archival footage ranging from roads to aerial photographs. Whether you're jumping out of a plane, taking care of your friends or operating a tank, you'll find many reasons to retreat to the battlefield in this large-scale representation of a World War II setting that has never been explored in a large multiplayer environment. FEATURES Inspired by games like "Red Orchestra ostfront 41-45", "Battleground Europe: WWII Online" or "ArmA", we want to offer the perfect blend of realism on large-scale maps. Teamwork-oriented gameplay that doesn't require a clan or private server to fully realize the game's potential. Built-in Voice Over IP with the best codecs available, with muted, localized radio traffic within the squad and radio traffic between squads. 3 exclusive game modes with "base building" and "base development" game mechanics normally found in real-time strategy games. A logistics system based on mobile vehicles to support bases in the field, all managed by the player. Large area maps from 4km² up to 8km². High quality and accurate models recreated from historical references and archives. A very open development team with excellent communication with the community and preparations for mod support just before release. Infantry, logistics, fortifications and mechanized warfare.
