Pokémon Red Version
Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green are the first video games in the Pokémon game series. They are the first paired versions of Generation I. Developed over several years, Red and Green set some standards for later Pokémon games and sequels. They are set in the Kanto region. The player must collect eight gym badges to become a Pokémon champion, while completing the Pokédex by collecting all 151 Pokémon.
Story
The player character begins in Pallet Town. When the player character tries to leave the city without a Pokémon of their own, they are stopped at the last second by Professor Oak, who invites them into his laboratory. There he gives them their own Pokémon and a Pokédex and tells them about his dream of creating a complete guide to all the Pokémon in the world. After battling his rival and leaving the lab, the player character can win every Gym Badge, compete in the Pokémon League and fulfill Oak's dream by catching every Pokémon.
