Playstation All-Stars Battle Royal is a crossover fighting game featuring (mostly exclusive) iconic characters from various Playstation franchises. Each stage also features prominent locations from other franchises. Story
A mysterious being appears and uses "time holes" to scatter everyone over different points in PlayStation's history. On their journey, the heroes will have to overcome different hybrid versions of their worlds, encountering dangers even stronger than themselves, as well as other characters that are eager to discover this mysterious figure and return their worlds to a state of normality. Only one can reach the mysterious threat that awaits them and gain its power. After a series of battles with other characters, the player finds out that Polygon Man is responsible for gathering all the characters from their worlds and forcing them to fight against each other to make them his servants. After Polygon Man is defeated, the player absorbs his power and his character returns to his own world, where he gets his own ending and is shown what to do with his newfound power (good or evil).
