Patrician IV

Patrician IV is the continuation of the historical trading simulation and strategy series. You are a merchant in northern Europe in the late Middle Ages, when the Hanseatic League was in its heyday. Your goal is to rise to become the most successful and influential member of the Hanseatic League and eventually be elected Elderman, the leader of the trading league. You'll start trading common goods, build up your own production and establish a trading fleet. Later you gain more and more political influence and even found new cities. But the life of a Hanseatic merchant can also have its downsides. On your way to power you will have to face fierce rivals, who you will have to fight with economic competition, price wars or unclean means like sabotage. Will you even get involved in piracy?
