Paper Mario: Color Splash
There's a mystery going around Prism Island - and only Paper Mario can solve it by restoring the island's disappearing colors with his new paint hammer and powerful battle cards up his sleeve. These new strategy elements and the fun action-adventure gameplay the series is known for make this one of the most colorful Paper Mario action-adventures ever.
Story
Mario and Princess Peach receive a strange letter that turns out to be Toad, who has been stripped of all color and folded into a piece of paper. Curious and concerned, they sail to Prism Island to investigate, but there they find an abandoned town whose streets are littered with colorless spots and faded objects. At the heart of the island, the famous Prism Fountain has run dry, and its six large color stars have vanished. There, Mario awakens Huey, a talking paint can who guards the fountain and explains that the stars are the source of all colors and all the color on the island. Mario agrees to help and sets off with Huey to find the scattered large color stars and restore the world’s colors using a magical color hammer. Soon after, Peach is kidnapped by Bowser, and Mario must traverse six colorful regions, help stranded Toads, and battle Bowser’s troops to save both the princess and Prism Island.
