Off-Road Drive

“Off-Road Drive,” the off-road racing simulation for PC, is the first game ever to offer a realistic, extreme off-road racing experience. Players compete in the Russian Trophy, the Off-Road Trial, the Thai Trophy, and many other events—under the most adverse driving conditions with a variety of natural obstacles such as swamps, rocks, snow, and sand. No other game offers such a wide variety of off-road sports vehicles, including tuned production SUVs and trucks, as well as several classes of prototypes built specifically for off-road driving. Vehicles can be equipped with a selection of specialized off-road gear and accessories, including winches, low-range gearboxes, differential locks, inclinometers, altimeters, tire pressure monitors, sand chains, and more. There has never been such an innovative simulation of interactive terrain response. The terrain beneath the vehicle behaves exactly as it does in real life: the car sinks into the mud, the mud forms ruts and sticks to the car and tires, affecting handling. Rocks fly out from under the wheels and damage other trucks. The game features various surfaces that not only affect tire traction but also exhibit complex reactions depending on vehicle weight, speed, wheel torque, tire condition, time spent on that surface, the vehicle’s depth of penetration into the surface, and much more.
