Story

SpongeBob and Patrick are blowing bubbles when a strange portal appears and pulls Patrick in. Another portal opens and a strange voice tells SpongeBob to go in to save Patrick, whereupon he jumps in. After crossing several worlds, SpongeBob finds Patrick, who gets angry and attacks him. SpongeBob overpowers Patrick and takes him to a pocket dimension called Timeless Star World, where they meet the one who summoned SpongeBob, Clockwork. Clockwork explains that Vlad Plasmius has gained the power to control other beings and is now trying to gain control of everyone in every universe. Clockwork gives the heroes a time medallion, which he can use to turn back time should they fall in battle, and sends them off to free more potential allies from Vlad's control.
