Midway introduces field hockey with its no-rules style of play, which can also be found in NFL Blitz. Field hockey has fewer rules than soccer, but NHL Hitz offers hard-hitting action and very simple 3-on-3 gameplay. The game features a franchise mode for a team you create, as well as a championship mode and an exhibition mode. You'll get attribute points and credits that you can use to unlock items and improve your players. There are several minigames and extras hidden deep in the game that you can unlock. NHL Hitz is Midway's attempt to create the most action-packed hockey game ever released on consoles.
