NES Open Tournament Golf

NES Open Tournament Golf is an NES game with Mario characters. As the name of the game suggests, it is a golf game and was one of the first golf games in the Mario series. You can play a round of golf on one of three different courses. One or two players can play in the US, Japan or the UK and choose to play a stroke play or match play. The game is played from two angles: First from the top view, where you prepare the shot and select a club, and then from the 3D perspective. When hitting the ball, the usual power display is used, where you tap the button to start the display, tap the button a second time to select the power of the shot, and tap the button a third time to select the power of the slice or hook.
