Story
Handhelds vs. smartphones - the portable little sister revolution that started with time... On this day, the four CPUs set off to answer a call for help from the PC continent far across the sea, while Nepgear and the other CPU candidates who stayed behind visited a certain research facility. There they were trapped in a capsule and put into a deep sleep by the "Grey CPU", from which they awoke two years later in a Gamindustri. The humans now had the latest smartphone model, called the "MagiPhone". It became a world where the market share was dominated by smartphones. Nepgear is told that Planeptune fell victim to the "Buzzoer Phenomenon", where hordes of monsters appear, and that her older sister Neptune has disappeared. Having lost her sister and her home, Nepgear was distraught. This is a story of destruction and recovery, by CPUs for CPUs, to pave the way from a future of despair to a future of hope.
