Neo Drift Out: New Technology
This is an arcade-style rally game with a unique isometric perspective. At the start, you choose between three major Japanese rally cars—the Mitsubishi Lancer, the Subaru Impreza, and the Toyota Celica—which differ in their speed, handling, and body stats. In each race stage, you must reach the finish line in the shortest time possible. If the clock hits zero, you lose and the game is over, unless you can continue. While driving, you’ll be slowed down by barrels, puddles, slippery ice, cones, and other obstacles in your path. Even other moving cars can be an obstacle. Additionally, the player must drive straight when going up hills; otherwise, the car will skid and crash. The player can gain more time by passing the checkpoints between the start and finish lines. The player can also take shortcuts. Before every turn, the player always receives an immediate warning on the screen, with a voice indicating which direction the player should turn, as well as specific warnings. Apart from the first practice level, there are six additional levels to master: Europe, Africa, Snow Country, Southern Hemisphere, Scandinavia, and Great Britain.
