Minecraft

Minecraft is about the player exploring, interacting with and changing a dynamically generated map of one cubic meter blocks. Besides the blocks, there are also plants, mobs and items in the environment. In-game activities include mining ores, fighting enemy mobs, and crafting new blocks and tools by collecting various resources found in the game. The open game model allows players to create structures, creations and artwork on various multiplayer servers or their single-player maps. Other features include redstone circuits for logical calculations and remote actions, mine carts and rails, and a mysterious underworld called Nether. A specific, but completely optional objective of the game is to travel to a dimension called "The End" and defeat the Ender Dragon.

Story

Minecraft: Java Edition (formerly known as Minecraft) is the original version of Minecraft developed by Mojang Studios for Windows, macOS and Linux. Notch began development on May 10, 2009 and released Minecraft on May 17, 2009, with the full release of the game occurring on November 18, 2011 at MINECON 2011.
