Minecraft: Java Edition

Minecraft is all about the player exploring a dynamically generated map of one cubic meter blocks, interacting with it and changing it. In addition to the blocks, there are also plants, mobs and objects in the environment. Activities in the game include mining ore, fighting enemy mobs and crafting new blocks and tools by collecting various resources found in the game. The open game model allows players to create structures, creations and works of art on various multiplayer servers or their single-player maps. Other features include redstone circuits for logical calculations and remote-controlled actions, mine carts and rails, and a mysterious underworld called the Nether. A specific, but completely optional, goal of the game is to travel to a dimension called "The End" and defeat the Ender Dragon.

Story

Minecraft: Java Edition (formerly known as Minecraft) is the original version of Minecraft developed by Mojang Studios for Windows, macOS and Linux. Notch began development on May 10, 2009 and released Minecraft on May 17, 2009. The full release of the game took place on November 18, 2011 at MINECON 2011.
