Mega Man X7

Mega Man X7

Mega Man X7, known in Japan as Rockman X7, is a 2003 platform game developed by Capcom for the PlayStation 2. It is the seventh main installment in the Mega Man X series and the first in the series to be released on sixth-generation consoles. Like other games in the series, “Mega Man X7” features eight selectable stages that the player must fight through. The game differs from earlier side-scrolling titles in that it features fully three-dimensional graphics combined with both 3D and 2D gameplay.

Story

After the incidents in Eurasia and Nightmare, the Reploids work diligently to rebuild Earth. Tired of the seemingly never-ending Maverick wars, X decides to retire in search of more peaceful solutions, leaving Zero in command.[6] During X's absence, Maverick activity rapidly increases, leading to the formation of an unsanctioned anti-Maverick vigilante group called Red Alert. As the group becomes increasingly reckless, one of its members, a new-generation Reploid prototype named Axl, decides to defect. Red, the leader of the group, is furious that Axl has left the group and sets out to get him back.
