Mega Man X2
"Mega Man X2," known in Japan as "Rockman X2," is the second installment in the "Mega Man X" series and was released in 1994 for the Super Famicom/Super Nintendo. The game featured the same graphics as the first installment but was enhanced thanks to the “Cx4” graphics chip (which was built into the cartridge). The chip enabled “semi-transparency” and 3D effects.
Story
Six months after the rebellion of Sigma, the most powerful Repliloid in history. The number of Irregulars, which previously seemed to have decreased, continued to increase and the bases of the Irregular fighters were destroyed in various places. The Irregulars causing these incidents had been implanted with special control chips, and the chips were engraved with the "Σ" mark, which was supposed to be destroyed.
