Mega Man Star Force: Leo
"Mega Man Star Force" is set in the fictional year 220X, two hundred years after the conclusion of the "Mega Man Battle Network" series. By now, the importance of internet technology has declined, and instead, the world is connected through the use of EM waves. While cyber worlds and NetNavis still exist in "Star Force," people’s dependence on them has greatly diminished, and they no longer have Navi companions. Instead, they rely on Transers. Three large satellites orbiting Earth—Pegasus, Leo, and Dragon—supply energy to the EM-wave world that exists within Earth’s atmosphere and keep the world connected. While the EM-wave world is normally invisible to the human eye, a special pair of glasses called a Visualizer (which the series’ main protagonist possesses) allows a person to see this other world. But just like in the cyber worlds of Battle Network, there are also EM wave viruses in the EM wave world that cause problems in everyday life.
Story
Mega Man Star Force introduces a new main character, a boy named Subaru Hoshikawa, who puts on a special pair of "Visualizer" glasses bequeathed to him by his father, triggering a specific wave and summoning the presence of a mysterious alien lifeform called Warlock. Dangerous creatures from Warlock's planet want to attack Earth, so they must join forces and transform into Mega Man to defeat these threatening forces. Special for the Leo version, Fire Leo uses a special flame burner attack that lets him burn all enemies in his path.
