Story

After completing his forbidden research on the Double Gear System, the evil Dr. Wily has transformed once peaceful robots into his destructive henchmen! But there is more to the story of the Double Gear System than meets the eye. It was originally developed to push robots beyond their limits, but Wily's device was deemed too dangerous and his research was halted. Remembering the incident years later, Wily completed his device and now seeks revenge. Does Mega Man have the power he needs to end the feud between the two when all he has is Dr. Light's prototype Double Gear?
