Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault

The game puts the player in the role of Pvt. Thomas Conlin, a U.S. Marine in the Pacific Theater of Operations during World War II. The game begins with Conlin just landing a landing craft on Tarawa. He talks about the friends he has lost, the untrained new recruits ("three-week wonders," as he calls them), and the futility of taking this small strip of land from the Japanese.
