Mario Kart 8

"Mario Kart 8" is a kart racing game in which players control characters from the Mario universe and other Nintendo series. Racers compete against each other on themed tracks and use power-ups from item boxes to gain an advantage or hinder opponents. The game introduces anti-gravity sections where players can drive along walls and ceilings and gain speed boosts from collisions. It supports up to twelve players online and four locally on a single system, and offers modes such as Grand Prix races and Arena battles. Vehicle customization allows players to freely combine body styles, wheels, and gliders. The Nintendo Switch version, “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe,” includes all previously released downloadable content, a revamped battle mode with its own arenas, and accessibility features for new players.
