Story
Experience the ultimate power fantasy as the greatest predator of the seas - a fearsome shark! Maneater is a single-player open-world action RPG (ShaRkPG) in which you are the shark. You start as a small shark pup and your task is to survive in the harsh world and eat your way up in the ecosystem. To do this, you'll explore a large and varied open world and encounter various enemies - both humans and wild animals. If you find the right resources, you'll be able to evolve far beyond what nature intended for you, and adapt the shark to your playstyle. This is fortunate, because in order to take revenge on the cruel fisherman who dismembered you, you'll have to evolve into a huge shark, a legendary predator. Feed. Explore. Evolve. Fight against wild animals, including other apex predators, or against different types of human hunters, from city drunks to coast guards. Feed humans and wild animals to grow your shark, and find shark prey to evolve your shark in different ways. 7 major regions, including Gulf Coast bays, vacation beaches, industrial ports, the open ocean and more. Experience a living world with a full day/night cycle.
