Major Havoc

Long ago, the evil Vaxxian Empire overran the galaxy. Most of humanity was enslaved and taken to the Vaxxians’ homeworld. A few humans, including scientists, managed to escape. At the present time (according to the game’s timeline), the Empire has since collapsed. However, numerous Vaxxian space stations still remain in the galaxy, all of which are blindly controlled and defended by robots that mindlessly follow their original commands. The small group of scientists who originally escaped managed to clone the great human hero Major Havoc so that he could fly through a wormhole in space in his Catastrofighter, so that he can lead a clone army against the dreaded Vaxxian robots and liberate the remnants of humanity by destroying the enemy reactors. You control Major Havoc, the leader of this very clone group.
