Leisure Suit Larry 2: Goes Looking for Love (in Several Wrong Places)
Leisure Suit Larry Goes Looking for Love (In Several Wrong Places) is the second game in Al Lowe's Leisure Suit Larry series. It picks up where the last game left off: the energetic bachelor Larry Laffer has finally found his true love and is living happily with her. Or is he? Wrong! Larry is mercilessly kicked out by his true love and is left all alone, without money and without a woman in Los Angeles. By chance, Larry comes into contact with KGB agents who will now pursue him around the globe. And then there's the evil Doctor Noontonyt, who is hatching sinister plans on a remote tropical island... It looks like Larry will have to forget about his woman problems for now... or will he? The second game in the series has an improved engine (with full-screen graphics and mouse control for movement). Unlike the first game, which involved exploring a large area, the sequel has a more linear structure, and the player is constantly guided to new locations according to the plot. There are fewer puzzles in this installment than in the previous game, but there are more ways to die, and danger lurks in most of the places Larry visits.
