La Pucelle Tactics
Prier and her brother Culotte are newcomers to the demon-hunting organization “La Pucelle.” They have just passed their final exams and are ready to prove themselves in the fight against demons and zombies, but soon find themselves caught up in a series of intrigues orchestrated by a rival church with dark intentions. The game takes place on a tactical map where teams of up to six characters attempt to clear the battlefield of enemies and dark energy. The unique “Purification” command allows players to recruit monsters into their team and execute complex “Miracle” energy attacks. The game was ported to the PlayStation Portable in Japan on November 26, 2009, under the title “La Pucelle Ragnarok.”
Story
La Pucelle is set in a kingdom called Paprica. The story revolves around a small church, the Church of the Holy Virgin, in the town of Pot a Feu. In addition to the normal duties and responsibilities of a church, there is a group of trained demon hunters called La Pucelle. Two of the newest members of La Pucelle are Prier, a sixteen-year-old girl, and her twelve-year-old brother Culotte. It is said that the Dark Prince, the favored servant of the fallen angel Calamity, will rise to scourge the land. But legend has it that when the Prince rises, a warrior woman known as the Maiden of Light will challenge him and restore the balance of light and darkness. Prier hopes to be the Maiden of Light. The game's story is divided into chapters. Each chapter has multiple endings, depending on the information La Pucelle finds out before the end of the chapter.
