Krakout

An Arkanoid-style Breakout clone in which—unlike in most similar games—the paddle is positioned on the side of the screen (there’s a left/right option) instead of at the bottom. There are various types of special bricks, but unlike in Arkanoid, for example, they don’t fall toward the paddle. Instead, when you hit a special brick, it rotates and displays a letter. For example: E (extend paddle), C (catch ball), M (rocket), B (bomb—explodes when hit by the ball and clears a row of bricks), and X (extra life). The enemies/obstacles are more varied than in Arkanoid. Some freeze the paddle, while others literally chew up your ball and spit the core right back at you!
