Story
The game takes place on the island of Melanat. The player takes on the role of the granite prince Aleph (alternatively called Alef/Alexander), who, as one of the closest friends of the King of Verdite, has set himself the task of finding the sacred sword, the Moonlight Sword, and returning it to King Alfred of the Kingdom of Verdite. Aleph washes up on the shores of Melanat as the only survivor after the ship he came on sinks in the sea. To find the Moonlight Sword, Aleph must venture further and further and uncover the secrets of the dark island of Melanat.
