Killing Time

Killing Time

A challenging shooter with gallows humor. Killing Time is not a shallow grave. Its depth is well thought out. Solving puzzles and strategic thinking are in the foreground.

Story

In Killing Time, the main character is a former Egyptology student who wants to uncover the mystery of a missing Egyptian artifact. The ancient "Water Clock of Thoth" had been discovered by his Egyptology professor, Dr. Hargrove, but the artifact disappeared shortly after a visit by the patron of the expedition, Tess Conway. Tess is the wealthy heiress of her family's estate on Matinicus Isle, where she keeps her friends and farmers close in order to gain the true power of the water clock. As the game progresses, the player finds out that Tess has used a number of people to get what she wants, but at a high price. Something has gone terribly wrong and turned all the people on the island into either restless ghosts, demons or undead. In the opening sequence of all versions of the game, Boldt Castle on Heart Island in the Thousand Islands region of the Saint Lawrence River is used as a visual representation of the Conway estate.
