Kenshi

A free-to-play, troop-based RPG. The emphasis is on open-ended sandbox gameplay rather than a linear story. Be a merchant, a thief, a rebel, a warlord, an adventurer, a farmer, a slave, or just food for the cannibals. Research new equipment and craft new items. Buy and upgrade your own buildings to use as safe, fortified havens when things go bad, or use them to start a business. Help or fight the various factions in the world as you strive for the strength and wealth needed to survive in the harsh desert. Train your men from puny victims to masterful warriors. Get your wounded comrades to safety and bring them all home alive.
