Katawa Shoujo
Katawa Shoujo is a bishoujo-style visual novel set in the fictional Yamaku High School for disabled children, located somewhere in modern Japan. Hisao Nakai, a normal boy living a normal life, is turned upside down when a congenital heart defect forces him to transfer to a new school after a long hospital stay. Despite his difficulties, Hisao manages to make friends - and perhaps love, if he plays his cards right. There are five main paths corresponding to the 5 main female characters, and each path follows the story that belongs to that character.
Story
Hisao Nakai is an ordinary high school student who one day suffers a heart attack in an adverse situation. When his doctor and parents tell him about his disability and the fact that they have transferred him to Yamaku Academy, an academy specifically designed to educate "people with disabilities," he thinks his life is over for good. Join Hisao Nakai in this new step in his life by making the right decisions. Who knows, maybe in the end you'll fall in love again...
