Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass

"Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass" is a Japanese-style RPG developed by a guy from Texas. It was heavily influenced by JRPGs from the SNES era, particularly “Earthbound,” “Final Fantasy 5,” and the “Breath of Fire” series, to name just a few. It was also heavily influenced by “Yume Nikki.” The game takes place within the dream of an eight-year-old boy. When an alien entity appears and threatens his family as well as the stability of the dream world itself, Jimmy embarks on an adventure to save his family and eliminate the threat posed by the “Pulsating Mass.” Along the way, Jimmy must work together with his family, confront his own weaknesses, and defy the creeping nightmares of his subconscious.
