Jak X: Combat Racing

After saving Haven City one more time, Jak and Daxter are poisoned and forced to race on the international car circuit by the execution of Krew's will. Featuring more than a dozen customizable vehicles with unique driving characteristics, players race their whip around 20 tracks in eight different terrain arenas. With an array of power-ups including projectile weapons, mines, ranged weapons, turbo boosts, shields and smart bombs, players should have the tools they need to cross the finish line first. The game supports both offline and online multiplayer modes. Offline multiplayer mode is the typical split-screen multiplayer mode for two players. The online multiplayer mode is playable with up to five other players. Both modes feature the same game types as the single player mode, with the difference that the human players replace the AI.

Story

A year after Jak 3, Haven City was steadily rebuilt after defeating the Dark Makers, Metal Head and KG Attacks. Combat racing became a sport in the dangerous Kras City over time. Jak, Daxter, Ashelin, Samos, Keira, Torn and Sig (who is not present) receive an invitation to the reading of Krew's last will and testament, as does his daughter Rayn. After giving a toast, Krew reveals in a recording that everyone present has been poisoned with black shadow. Krew issues an ultimatum: the only way to get the antidote is for everyone to compete and win at the next Kras City Grand Championship. As Jak and his friends complete each race, they discover that another crime syndicate led by the mysterious Mizo has it in for Jak. Eventually, it turns out that the Krew and Mizo made a deal before the events of Jak 3: Both gangs should form their own racing teams and the loser of the Kras city championship will submit, making the winner the only crime family in Jak's world.
