Island Xtreme Stunts
Island Xtreme Stunts is a mixture of different genres in a single game. Players explore a LEGO-based environment in an open-world format, skateboarding, driving, flying and piloting a variety of vehicles while performing stunts and tricks and taking on the villain Brickster. Players take on the role of Pepper Roni, a lead stuntman in a major movie production set on LEGO Island. Although the player can move freely, there is a story behind the game that spans 25 missions. All missions are stunt-based. You run through the world in 3rd person view, the controls are fairly simple and don't offer the trick combinations of other stunt/trick games. The game is also easy for younger players to learn and play without having to think too much about which button combinations do which trick. Instead, the player can concentrate on the missions by only having to perform the basic tricks with a few button presses.
Story
Pepper Roni has been cast as the lead in an action movie being filmed on Lego Island (aptly titled "Xtreme Stunts"). The Brickster (who somehow made it back to Lego Island) was released from prison after claiming to have reformed and now has a role in the movie. After jumping through a large billboard on a motorcycle as a publicity stunt, he is brought to the first scene where he chases the Brickster, who ironically is the main villain of the movie, at high speed on the highway. After that, Pepper is free to explore Lego Island and complete side missions as he continues the movie in other locations on the island. The further the player progresses through the missions, the clearer it becomes that the Brickster has plans of his own. He later kidnaps the Infomaniac and reveals his tower that his Brickster bots have built, and has built a supercomputer that will tear the whole world apart. Pepper, of course, comes to the rescue while the host tries to shut down the supercomputer. He outsmarts the Brickster again and locks him up, while the supercomputer has instead been reprogrammed to disassemble the tower so that the movie can be completed and released in time (which the player can see after completing the game). In the end, Pepper has access to all areas of the island so that he can replay scenes from the movie and various tasks. The game also provides a bit more canon (e.g. it explains why the Legondos split up).
