Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis

A point-and-click adventure game from LucasArts, originally released in 1992. Almost a year later, it was re-released on CD-ROM as an enhanced "talkie" edition with full voice acting and digitized sound effects. In 2009, this version was also released as an unlockable extra of the Wii action game Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings and as a Steam digital title. In Fate of Atlantis, the seventh game to use the SCUMM scripting language, the player explores environments and interacts with objects and characters by executing commands with predetermined verbs. There are three unique paths to choose from that affect story development, gameplay and puzzles.

Story

The plot is set in the fictional Indiana Jones universe and revolves around the eponymous protagonist's worldwide search for the legendary sunken city of Atlantis. Sophia Hapgood, an old colleague of Indiana Jones who gave up her archaeological career to become a clairvoyant, supports him on his journey. The two partners are pursued by the Nazis, who want to use the power of Atlantis for their warfare and are the antagonists of the adventure.
