Story
"The island had a custom. To keep the peace, once a decade a sacrifice was made to a fiend on the island. One year, however, the fiend became violent before the next sacrifice was due. The islanders were afraid and tried to appease the fiend by offering a sacrifice: Setsuna, who was chosen for her magical powers. Setsuna must leave with her guards for the farthest land where the sacrificial ceremony will take place."
