Hype: The Time Quest

Hype: The Time Quest is an adventure video game developed by Ubi Soft Montreal and published by Ubi Soft Entertainment. The game, which was released in 1999 alongside Alex Builds His Farm (1999), is based on Playmobil's medieval castle toy series. The US version for the Game Boy Color was originally scheduled for release in June 2000, but was delayed for over a year for unknown reasons. The game centers on Hype, a 22-year-old knight in the service of King Taskan IV, who embarks on a journey through time to return to his own time and save the kingdom from the evil black knight Barnak. The game was directed by Alain Tascan and features thirty-two different voice actors and original music by Robbi Finkel.
