How to Train Your Dragon is an action-adventure video game set after the movie of the same name and before its sequel, How to Train Your Dragon 2. The game consists in exploring the island of Berk, which serves as a hub for various mini-games, including dragon battles. At the start of the game you'll be able to choose whether you play as Hiccup or Astrid. As a Viking hero, you'll then embark on an epic adventure to become the ultimate dragon trainer. The massive island of Berk features extended locations from the movie, including the Viking Village, the Wild Zone, the Training Zone, and the Battle Arena. In this truly larger-than-life adventure, players will train dragons, explore environments and compete in prestigious dragon tournaments for Viking victory. In addition, players can become the dragon hero of their living room as they compete with friends and family in endless multiplayer battles. Create your own dragon - The "Create your dragon" feature allows players to design six different types of dragons, offering nearly endless combinations to change the look of your dragon. Train your dragon for battle - Improve your dragon's speed, strength, fire and other abilities through intensive training to face the Vikings' ultimate challenge and become the ultimate dragon trainer. Then use your arsenal of trained dragons to battle your friends in a variety of unique environments. Pick up where the movie left off - Players will experience an all-new adventure based on the movie, where they will join the battle as their favorite characters. Explore the picturesque island of Berk as Hiccup or Astrid in Adventure Mode, or experience fierce battles in Arena Mode as you fight for your crown as the ultimate Dragon Warrior. Head-to-head multiplayer mode - In Arcade mode, friends can choose their dream team from four customized dragons or dragons selected from the Arcade list and then compete against each other. In addition to Astrid and Hiccup, other characters playable in multiplayer include Tuffnut T., Ruffnut T., Fishlegs and Snotlout. Mini-games - Mini-games include Ice Sculpture, Looping Race, Flying Sheppard, Memory Torch and Puzzle Dragon.
