Harvest Moon DS: Sunshine Islands
The game is divided into four 30-day seasons that make up a year. Each day lasts about fifteen minutes. Unlike its predecessor, Harvest Moon DS: Island of Happiness, the player is not limited to controlling the game with the touch screen. To talk to other characters in the game, you either tap on the character or press the A button while looking at them. The B button can be pressed while steering your character to make them walk. Although the player can now use the buttons, the old touch screen controls are still intact.
Story
Welcome to the Sunshine Islands, a chain of islands bursting with life. Some say, however, that the islands are not what they used to be. Many years ago, the islands were hit by a major disaster. Could there be a way to restore them? Maybe you can find out, player! The islands are in danger! Years ago, the Sunshine Islands were hit by a powerful earthquake. In Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands, it's up to the player to restore the sunken islands by finding the magical sunstones.
