Gungrave

Gungrave

A third-person shooter developed and published by Red Entertainment (Sega in North America and Activision in Europe) for the PlayStation 2, Gungrave follows its main character through a variety of stages on a path of revenge.

Story

The game begins with the young girl laboriously lugging an oversized briefcase to a warehouse. "Bloody" Harry Macdowell has just staged a coup against Big Daddy, the leader of the Millennion organization, and his daughter Mika must find someone who can protect her and stop Harry's crazy plans. The inhabitants of the warehouse include a kindly-looking old doctor and a man with a noticeable scar on his face. When Mika arrives, the man with the scar demands the contents of the suitcase: two massive handguns. The man turns out to be the game's title character, Grave, and now that he is armed, he can begin his mission. Gungrave begins with a series of missions issued by Dr. T. First, he is to gather information on the current composition of Millennion from a low-level street gang and then destroy a research facility that is creating Harry's undead soldiers. In the third phase, while trying to pump information from an informant, Grave comes into contact with the leadership of the Millenion organization - once friends and allies, who he now sees as enemies. They have all used research supported by Harry to give themselves inhuman powers. From now on, Grave is pursued by each member as he makes his way to Harry's tower in the heart of the city.
