Guilty Gear
Guilty Gear is a 2D fighting game in which you can play as one of 10 very different characters. The selection of fighters ranges from Knights of the Holy Order and soldiers of the Armed Air Force to mafia members and mad scientists. Each character has their own story, which is fully revealed in the final showdown. In battles, you can charge up for special attacks and perform death blows that kill your opponent instantly. You can either complete the arcade mode, challenge your friends to a versus battle or train your skills in training mode.
Story
In the 22nd century, scientists learning the old ways of magic discovered a new technique that made it possible to create artificial beings by mixing the DNA of humans and animals. These new creatures were called "gears". They had no will of their own and were destined to obey humans forever. However, for some mysterious reason, one cog named Justice was able to disobey humans and make his own decisions. He organized a rebellion of the gears, which was later suppressed by the Knights of the Holy Order, who put him in prison. But recently Justice broke out and the Order organized a tournament to see who is capable of taking him down again. Among the main contenders are a man with an unclear past, Sol Badguy, and his rival Ky Kiske, one of the Order's most skilled knights. However, the conditions of the tournament are very strange. Bloodshed is allowed, and the first prize is not very common either: the winner's every wish will be granted...
