Golf

“Golf” is a game for the NES based on the sport of the same name. In promotional materials, the golfer was identified as Mario, even though he isn’t wearing his traditional shirt and overalls. The gameplay of “Golf” is relatively simple. The player is given a ball, and a map on the right side of the screen shows the hole into which they must hit the ball. Obstacles along the way are also displayed on the map. The player earns more points depending on how many times they must hit the ball to get it into the hole. By pressing the up/down buttons on the + control pad, players can also choose from many different types of clubs.
