Galaxy on Fire 2

Story

The game follows the adventures of Keith T. Maxwell, who is sent forward in time after a malfunction of his hyperdrive caused by a battle in an asteroid belt. His spaceship spins out of control while Keith is unconscious, and is put into orbit around Var Hastra by the ship's computer before being recovered by an ore trader and towed to the orbiting space station. The trader, Gunant Breh, tells Keith about the events that took place while Keith was unconscious, and Keith is stunned to realize that 35 years have passed since the incident in the asteroid belt. Breh tasks Keith with collecting ore from an old mining ship. While mining, the ship is attacked by pirates and Keith flies back to the station. Unhappy with having to run away from the pirates, Keith convinces Gunant to help him take out the pirates in the area. After defeating the pirates, Keith is asked to visit a neighboring planet because the space station there has recently lost contact. While investigating, Keith bumps into his old friend Mkkt Bkkt, who tells him that the crew of the station have been infected with "neuroalgae" and are intoxicated as a result.
